Who among us doesn't like strawberries? I have been growing these delicious fruits on my farm for many years. We look forward to them because they are the beginning of the fruit season. Many years of experience in growing strawberries have allowed me to isolate the most aromatic, sweet, disease-resistant, firm and fleshy varieties that will ensure a perfectly thick consistency of jam. Thanks to this, I know that the strawberries I put in jars are of the highest quality. You confirm it because it's our hit. The strawberry is the queen and that's it!

Strawberry jam without added sugar

Strawberry jam was prepared using the traditional method - without added sugar. Therefore, the noticeable sweetness comes only from the fruit itself. The jam was fried slowly and without haste using a wooden stirrer and a large pot with a thick bottom to prevent it from burning. Long-term frying causes the water to evaporate and the sugars to caramelize, i.e. the process of food darkening, which contributes to the formation of caramel as a result of the high temperature acting on the natural sugars of the fruit. This process is very important in the preserves I prepare because it helps bring out the true flavour of the strawberries, which I then seal in a jar.

Use of jam
It is a great addition to oatmeal, millet, pancakes, bread, cookies, cakes, ice cream, waffles, potato pancakes, puddings and other products. In other words, strawberry jam provides a wide range of possibilities in preparing meals. It all depends on your creativity and taste preferences.

What does strawberry jam without added sugar taste like?
After pasteurization in a jar, strawberry jam resembles the smell of sun-ripened fruits in a strawberry field, their consistency is thick, the taste is naturally sweet and sour, and the colour is much darker than a freshly picked strawberry. This is an excellent choice for people who are lovers of semi-sweet preserves or are looking for an idea that will allow them to diversify their daily diet with a product that is a real vitamin bomb. To sum up, strawberry jam is a nod to maintaining good health and well-being.
