Sweet juice dripping down my fingers when I ate pears with my friends as a child. There was so much laughter. Back then, they filled almost the entire school backpack, but the joy of eating them during the school break was indescribable. I have already tried many varieties of pears, but I have one favourite, which accompanied me on my way to school when I was a child. I always come back to it. It is extremely aromatic, juicy, sweet, firm and melts in your mouth. I only prepare jam for you from this proven variety, smelling at the end of August, because I am sure they will be delicious.

Pear jam without added sugar
I associate aromatic pears with the end of summer. As a child, I loved taking them to school and giving them to my friends. Back then, they filled almost the entire school backpack, but the joy of eating them during the school break was indescribable. Pear orchards have accompanied me since childhood. I have already tried many varieties of pears, but I have one favorite, which accompanied me on my way to school when I was a child. I always come back to it. It is extremely aromatic, juicy, sweet, firm and melts in your mouth. I only prepare jam for you from this proven variety, smelling at the end of August, because I am sure they will be delicious.

Pear jam was prepared using the traditional method - without added sugar. Therefore, the noticeable sweetness comes only from the fruit itself. Pear jam without added sugar was fried slowly and without haste using a wooden stirrer and a large pot with a thick bottom to prevent it from burning. Long-term frying causes the water to evaporate and the sugars to caramelize. Caramelization is the process of darkening food, which contributes to the formation of caramel as a result of the action of high temperature on the natural sugars of the fruit. This process is very important in the preserves I prepare, because it helps bring out the true flavour of the pears, which I then seal in a jar.

Use of pear jam
It is a great addition to oatmeal, millet, tea, donuts, pancakes, bread, cookies, cakes, ice cream, waffles, potato pancakes, puddings and other products. In other words, pear jam provides a wide range of possibilities in preparing meals. It all depends on your creativity and taste preferences.

What does pear jam without added sugar taste like?
After opening the jar, pear jam has an aroma similar to fresh fruit, a rather thick consistency, a natural sweet taste and a colour similar to the shade of pear flesh. This is an excellent choice for people who are lovers of sweet preserves or are looking for an idea to diversify their daily diet with a product that is a real vitamin bomb. To sum up, it is worth remembering that pear jam is a nod to maintaining good health and well-being.
