Velvety skin, juicy, firm interior, beautiful yellow colour. Yes, we are talking about a peach. Polish peach varieties are slightly smaller than their cousins from southern Europe, but they can boast a unique taste, in which the sweetness is offset by a sour accent coming from the peel. I don't think I know anyone who would say they don't like peaches. Therefore, they cannot be missing from the list of jar hits. Enjoy your meal.

Peach jam without added sugar

Peach jam was prepared traditionally - without added sugar. Therefore, the noticeable sweetness comes only from the fruit itself. Peach jam without added sugar was fried slowly and without haste using a wooden stirrer and a large pot with a thick bottom to prevent it from burning. Long-term frying causes the water to evaporate and the sugars to caramelize. Caramelization is the process of darkening food, which contributes to the formation of caramel as a result of the action of high temperature on the natural sugars of the fruit. This process is very important in the preserves I prepare, because it helps bring out the true flavour of peaches, which I then seal in a jar.

Using peach jam

It is a great addition to oatmeal, millet, tea, donuts, pancakes, bread, cookies, cakes, ice cream, waffles, potato pancakes, puddings and other products. In other words, peach jam provides a wide range of possibilities in food preparation. It all depends on your creativity and taste preferences.
