Storing in shaded places means that preserves retain higher concentrations of vitamins and minerals for a much longer period of time. Once the product has been opened, store it in the refrigerator.

Plum with spices
Plum with spices was prepared using the traditional method. The plums were thoroughly washed and then pitted by hand. I fried the plums prepared in this way in a pot with a thick bottom. Frying causes the water to evaporate and the sugars to caramelize, i.e. the process of food darkening, which contributes to the formation of caramel as a result of the high temperature acting on the natural sugars of the fruit. This process is very important in the preserves I prepare, because it helps bring out the true flavour of the plums. To obtain an amazing aroma that can be felt immediately after opening the jar, I added spices at the end of frying. I placed everything in jars and gently pasteurized them.
