Renewing peeling with lactobionic acid and gluconolactone is a cosmetic with a broad stimulating, regenerating and rejuvenating effect.

Lactobionic acid is a unique representative of this group, distinguished by its spectacular action and at the same time gentleness to the skin. Its exfoliating effect is unnoticeable to the naked eye. Due to the relatively large size of the particles, it does not penetrate the skin as deeply as other acids - hence its lower irritating effect. We can treat the renewing BIOUP peeling like a serum - but it remains on the face for a short time and requires washing off.

We decided to use a peeling formula, not a serum, because the reduced pH of the cosmetic (below 3) allows for much greater activity of lactobionic acid and gluconolactone. Our skin therefore fully benefits from their properties. The peeling formula also allows for easy and relatively infrequent use of the cosmetic without the need to permanently include another step in daily care.

Reduced pH of the cosmetic = more effective action
The effectiveness of cosmetics with acids depends not only on their concentration, but also, and perhaps primarily, on the degree of their activity determined by the pH level.

Effects of using lactobionic acid
Lactobionic acid and gluconolactone do not have spectacular effects at the beginning and after the first or second use of Renewing Peeling, no significant differences are visible. Peeling also does not give the skin a feeling of immediate smoothness - which is often what we obviously expect from this type of cosmetics. However, after a few applications, we gradually start to feel its effect, and after about 1-1.5 months of systematic use twice a week, the first effects begin to be visible.

PHA acids are used by long-distance athletes. The best results are achieved by using them regularly over a long period of time:

Lactobionic acid meets the needs of mature skin particularly well. It inhibits enzymes that destroy collagen and elastin fibers. Thanks to this, it prevents the formation of wrinkles and sagging skin. It stimulates collagen synthesis, strengthens skin repair mechanisms and neutralizes free radicals.

Additionally, the peel contains ingredients responsible for improving skin hydration - urea and saccharide isomerate, and an amino acid - arginine - with a broad anti-aging effect.

How to use BIOUP Renewing Peeling with PHA acids?
Apply a thin layer to a cleansed face, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Leave for 10-15 minutes and wash off with plenty of water. After the first few applications, you can extend the time of leaving the preparation on the skin to 20-30 minutes. The peeling does not dry, but you can use a cotton pad or washcloth to remove it thoroughly. There is no need to neutralize the peeling.

Use 1-2 times a week as the beginning of evening care. After washing off the peeling, follow the next care steps.

For best results, use the Renewing Peeling systematically for a minimum of 2-3 months.

PHA acids are the most gentle acids with low irritation potential. After using the peeling, the skin should not react intensely - with a burning sensation, heat or redness. However, each skin is different and due to the reduced pH of the cosmetic, such a reaction may always occur. Therefore, before using it for the first time, test it on a small piece of leather. In case of a strong reaction, wash off the preparation immediately. Do not use on damaged skin or open inflammatory lesions.

Peeling can be used all year round.

During periods of sunlight, we recommend using SPF protection during the Renewing Peeling treatment.
