Ceramides are an essential component of skin lipids. Their role cannot be overestimated. The ceramide layer (so-called intercellular cement) is a tight protective barrier necessary to effectively inhibit water loss. Supplementing ceramides is one of the main ways to prevent skin aging.

BIOUP ceramide serum contains 5% of a complex of three types of ceramides: NP, AP and EOP. Thanks to them, the skin regains its smoothness and consistency, and in the long run its ability to retain water increases. Its susceptibility to irritation also decreases.

Additionally, the serum contains trimolecular hyaluronic acid that binds water in the skin's structures and a strongly hydrating complex of xylitol derivatives.

An important ingredient of the serum is l-ornithine - an amino acid enclosed in liposomes, enabling more effective penetration into the skin. It affects the volume of subcutaneous fat tissue. This tissue is responsible for maintaining the correct oval and facial features. By increasing its volume - an effect corresponding to in-office lipofilling treatments - existing wrinkles are filled. We achieve the effect of delicate filling and improving the structure of the skin.

Selected lipid ingredients - phytosterols of Abyssinian oil, squalane from sugar cane and organic almond and jojoba oils - create a barely perceptible protective coat for our skin, making it silky soft and smooth.

Borage oil is one of the richest sources of GLA acid, which belongs to the omega-6 series. GLA acid is a physiological component of the membrane of human cells. Borage oil "repairs" the skin, improves its comfort and prevents any dryness or irritation.

The serum with ceramides has a very light, velvety, milky consistency. When you apply a small amount - a few drops - it is quickly absorbed and makes the skin velvety smooth. It will not leave a sticky feeling on most skin types. It has a delicate sweetish scent that does not linger on the skin.

How to use BIOUP CERAMIDE Complex 5% Serum?
Can be used in the morning and/or evening on a cleansed face. Shake the bottle vigorously before each application. The serum is efficient and full of active ingredients - a small amount is enough.

We don't use cosmetics ourselves. We recommend using it under a light cream, but also under oil or oil serum.

It works well in the morning as a smoothing and moisturizing base under traditional makeup and BB creams or SPF creams; similarly, minerals stick to it very well.

The cosmetic is available in a 30 ml bottle made of colourless frosted glass, equipped with a pipette pressed from the top.
